The next choices for LibriVox are:
1. Notes from the Underground, by Fyodor Dostoyevsky
Find the gutenberg e-text here.
and,
2. Psmith in the City, by P.G. Wodehouse.
Find the gutenberg e-text here.
The objective is to have the chapters recorded ahead of time, and then podcast one at a time in sequence, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (I hope). I hope, soon also, to get some technical help to make this a more reasonable process.
UPDATE
Official LibriVox Chapter Assignments have been made. I’ll be offering a few other options soon too for other volunteers. This project may soon baloon out of control!

I’ll do three chapters of Wodehouse, Chapters 1-3 since nobody else has claimed them yet.
Hugh, I will claim the beginning of Notes From the Underground, although Hugh, I think it’s actually in two parts. The first is 11 chapters and the second part is ten. How’s about I do the first three chapters?
Sign me up for as much of both-love Notes. Read everything of Wodehouse.
I’ll take chapters 4-6 of part 1 of Notes. Cheers!
I’ll take something from the middle of the Wodehouse. Chapters 10-12.
I’d like Wodehouse – how about 4-6?
I’ll take 8-10 of Part II of Notes.
I’ll read 7-9 of Wodehouse.
Ah, heck – I’ll do 7-9 of Part I of Notes as well.
Okay, I’ve had more time to look things over and figure out my schedule. I’ll take Part II, the poem and chap 1-3 of Notes and Chap 13-15 of Psmith. There looks like some gaps are developing-feel free to tap me on the shoulder if you need some random chapters read to take the pressure off yourself. Neal.
I’m happy to read a chapter of “notes”. Never done this so perhaps someone can help me get started.
Hi there, I’ll take 16-18 of PSmith. Thanks. Luke Venediger.
I’ll take 19-21 of Wodehouse. Let me know if you need me to move my part around though in case you need help.
I’ll take a section of Wodehouse! Whatever isn’t already claimed.
Thanks for the invite, hugh. Would love the end of Psmith, or as close to the end as you can toss my way…
I’ll take psmith 28-30 (if it is still available)
I’ll take 25-27 of Psmith in the City
In case anyone wants to listen before they’re officially released, I did Chapters 1-3 of Psmith yesterday. They’re on my website: mediatinker.com in MP3 and OGG formats.
I checked this a couple of days ago and all the chapters were grabbed up pretty quickly! Still, I have done a Wodehouse story from another book that’s up in Mister Ron’s Basement today (Episode #128). It’s ‘Bradshaw’s Little Story’ from 1903, part of ‘Education Week’ on the Basement
