Well done! Now I just have to find time to listen to (and review!) all 4,000. By last count, I’ve reviewed 54 Librivox works, so I’m about 1.35% of the way there!

  2. Hawden says:

Congratulations to the good ship Librivox.

  3. Lars Rolander says:

I was almost certain we would reach 4000 before this, our fifth year ended. It is a fantastic, absolutely fantastic achievement! Congratulations to all and everyone who have made this possible!

  4. Zuyx says:

You guys and gals are great! Love it!

  5. Rogers Otuta says:

Just passing a word thanks towards the commitment and dedication you guys have put onto this amazing piece of work. God reward you abundantly.

  6. Beverly says:

There is no end to my thanks to everybody who has given their time and with no orvertime, with no pay at all. You’ve all brought me enormous pleasure. I listen each day and or night. I’m disabled and a senior citizen. I’m listening to Samuel Johnson and fall asleep. I’ve downloaded chapter-by-chapter so go back and relisten after waking up. Now with The Battle at Marathon, there will never be be a time I won’t have anything to do. This is so important to me. Did I say thank you?

I suffer diabetes, and my eyes fail me sometimes. I find this site to be a godsend. Thank you and God bless.

  8. Hussain Muhammad says:

  9. David Stinson says:

I am deeply grateful for the chance Librivox has
given me to expand my mind and understanding
during what would have otherwise been wasted hours
behind the wheel. And while I’m glad someone
would read-in “The Battle of Marathon,” It does no
good to upload a recording so distorted and badly
made that it cannot be understood most of the time.
To draw attention to a bad recording as your “4000th”
gives a very bad impression to those who are taking
a “first look” at your site. I respectfully urge you to
withdraw the book until it has been re-recorded
    in acceptable quality.

  10. Angelo says:

    Superb job. Keep it up.

  11. Jagadeesha says:
