Lester Chadwick

Lester Chadwick is a pseudonym of the Stratemeyer Syndicate, which mass-produced children's books from 1899 through the late 1990s and even into the 2000s. Chadwick was the listed author for the Baseball Joe series. It is generally accepted that most if not all the books were probably written by Howard R. Garis (1873-1962), although some sources credit Edward Stratemeyer and John W. Duffield with writing some of the books in the series.
