Happy Birthday Kayray!

Anyone who has spent even a few minutes on the LibriVox forums knows Kara, the most tireless of our volunteers, and I suspect the most prolific (according the the New York Times, and they should know, Kara has contributed more than 200 individual chapters to LibriVox!).

Kara also embodies the spirit of LibriVox and everything wonderful about this place: she loves books, loves reading and listening, loves recording, better yet loves organizing things, and she is kind and patient with newbies and crusty vets alike. And she has, since September of 2005, the very earliest days, given so much energy to this project … the unsecret secret is that LibriVox probably never would have gone very far without Kara.

all this as a little intro to say, thank you, and: Happy Birthday Kara!

    Happy Birthday, Kayray!
The staff folks got it right: You embody Librivox, and I have recognized your voice for a while, now, as I listen as I plug along on my lunchtime aerobic walks. You help me doubly-benefit from the time.

    Keep up the good work!
