Stanzas to Pale Ale

Mr. Punch (1841 - 2002)

LibriVox volunteers bring you 10 recordings of "Stanzas to Pale Ale" by Mr. Punch.
This was the Weekly Poetry project for July 24, 2022.

------
Punch was a British weekly magazine of humour and satire established in 1841. Reflecting their satiric and humorous intent, the two editors took for their name and masthead the anarchic glove puppet, Mr. Punch, of Punch and Judy. In light of the summer's heat, we offer this ode to the (as asserted) most refined of all beers, the Pale Ale. Please, imbibe responsibly and only when one has reached the legal drinking age, but all ages may enjoy these poem renditions as intemperately as they like. :) - Summary by TriciaG
