1000 solos completed! Feedback from a listener!

We’ve reached a splendid 1000 catalogued solos – congratulations to everyone who’s ever recorded a solo, or who’s helped in other ways — you’re all so great. I play snips from #999, 1000 … and 1001.

And earthcalling (David Barnes) reads a rather amazing post by Otterly (Carol-Anne), who wrote about how she found LibriVox, why she listens, and what has prompted her to join the forums. To see her original post, to read replies, and to add to the conversation yourself, visit this thread.

Thanks from Pierre

Posted on January 25, 2009 by | Posted in about LibriVox, News | Comments: Comments Off on Thanks from Pierre

Hey Librivox
I just wanted to express my gratitude to all those amazing people out there who have taken the trouble to record so many wonderful books. Whilst not everyone’s reading style is to my taste I respect the effort that they put in. I have downloaded many books from Librivox and have spent hours listening to them on my IPod as i drive around or in bed at night as I drift off to sleep.
Here’s to the future
Pierre
