Frank Benton (1853 - 1921)

Frank Benton (July 19, 1853 - March 1921) was a prominent figure in the western cattle industry, known for his business acumen and personality. He amassed significant landholdings in Colorado, including over 14,000 acres of deeded land and 15,000 acres of government leases. Not without the keen sense of humor, Mr. Benton, in various publications, has handed down through posterity something of the local color of western life on the range.
