Frederick William Robinson (1830 - 1901)

Frederick William Robinson, a popular English novelist, was born in Spitalfields, London, December 23,1830, and died there December 6, 1901. He was educated at Clarendon House School, Kensington. He began writing novels in 1851, and produced more than fifty between 1863 and the time of his death. He was a very skillful writer, and besides novels contributed special articles to various periodicals. He was also for five years the dramatic critic for the London Daily News, and was the founder and editor of Home Chimes.
