José Juan Tablada (1871 - 1945)

José Juan Tablada (April 3, 1871-August 2, 1945) was a Mexican poet, art critic, and diplomat. Traveled briefly in Japan (1900) and later translated and wrote haiku, introducing the poetic form to Spanish language readers.
