Richmal Crompton (1890 - 1969)

Richmal Crompton Lamburn (15 November 1890 – 11 January 1969) was initially trained as a teacher but later became a popular English writer, most famous for her many Just William humorous short stories, and to a lesser extent adult fiction books.
