Marie Franzos (1870 - 1941)

Marie Franzos, called Mizi or Mizzi (17 September 1870 - 6 August 1941), was an Austrian women's rights activist, writer and translator, particularly from Scandinavian languages, as well as librarian of the "Vienna Women's Club" founded in 1900. She published some of her translations under the pseudonym "Francis Maro" (Frances Maro).
