Winston S. Churchill (1874 - 1965)
Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill was a British statesman who was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945 and again from 1951 to 1955. Churchill was also an officer in the British Army, a non-academic historian, and a prolific writer (as Winston S. Churchill). Churchill received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1953 for his numerous published works, especially his six-volume work The Second World War.
