Dorothy Tennant (1855 - 1926)
Dorothy Tennant (22 March 1855, in Russell Square, London – 5 October 1926) was a Victorian neoclassicist painter. In 1890, she married the explorer of Africa, Henry Morton Stanley, and became known as Lady Stanley. She was also an authoress and illustrated several books, including "London Street Arabs", 1890.
