John C. Lambert (1857 - 1917)

John Chisholm Lambert (8 February 1857 - 1 January 1917) was a British minister and author. He was born in Trinidad, British West Indies, to Scottish United Presbyterian missionaries. In his teens he moved back to Scotland, where he studied in Edinburgh and later served as a minister. After his voice failed and he retired from preaching, John became an author of books describing the adventures of missionaries in the field as well as editing a number of other religious books.
