Baltasar Gracián (1601 - 1658)

Baltasar Gracián y Morales, SJ was a Spanish Jesuit and baroque prose writer and philosopher. He was born in Belmonte, near Calatayud (Aragon). His proto-existentialist writings were lauded by Nietzsche and Schopenhauer.
