Louis Aubrey Wood (1883 - 1955)

Louis Aubrey Lorne Wood (19 August 1883 - 1955) was a Canadian teacher, historian, economist, and author. He completed a PhD at the University of Heidelberg in 1911. He started his career teaching at the University of Western Ontario in 1914, eventually becoming a professor of economics at the University of Oregon. He wrote several books on Canadian history, notably The Red River Colony and A History of Farmers' Movements in Canada.
