Henry L. Williams (1842 - )

Henry Llewellyn Williams was a prolific American author and translator. He was the author of city mysteries, dime novels, yellowbacks, westerns, and sea stories. Some, perhaps many of these, were written by Henry Llewellyn Williams, Jr. "Most likely both father and son were hacks, perhaps in partnership, and both made frequent trips between London and New York." The father died sometime between 1883 and 1890.
