William F. Bigelow (1879 - 1966)

William Frederick Bigelow (1879 - March 5, 1966) was an American editor. He started his career in 1905 as a copy boy on Cosmopolitan magazine. He soon became one of the magazine's editors, and in 1909 managing editor. In 1913 he took the editorship of Good Housekeeping, and he remained the magazine's editorial head until his retirement in 1940.
