John Charles Dent (1841 - 1888)

John Charles Dent was a journalist, author and historian. He was born in England, but shortly after his birth, his family emigrated to Canada West. He practised law as an attorney for a few years, but found the profession did not suit him, and was drawn to pursue literary endeavours instead.
