Aaron Smith ( - 1862)

Aaron Smith was an English seaman. In 1822 he was taken captive by Cuban pirates when his ship was boarded en route from Jamaica to England. He was forced to work as a navigator and as a member of pirate boarding parties. After escaping, then being put on trial in England as a pirate, he wrote an account of his experiences.
