Alice Turner Curtis (1860 - 1958)
Alice Curtis Turner (6 Sep 1860 - 10 Jul 1958) was an American author of juvenile fiction and historical fiction (among potentially other things). She entered the literary profession by 1895. Her first known published work was Marjorie's Way (published in 1905). She is known for writing The Little Maid's Historical Series, the Grandpa's Little Girls series, the Little Heroine series, the Yankee Girl series, the Marjorie series, and the Little Runaways series, as well as a number of other books. She wrote at least sixty works.
