John Lang (1849 - 1917)

John Lang was the younger brother of Andrew Lang, the well-known Scottish author. Born in Scotland in 1849, John Lang spent many years in Australia before returning to his homeland. His first books were not published until he was in his 50s, and were mostly written in collaboration with his wife, Jean Lang Blaikie.
