Else Dorn (1877 - 1958)

Else Dorn was the first woman to be appointed to the executive board of the "Central Association of German Citizens of Jewish Faith" around 1919. After being attacked and mistreated in her apartment during Kristallnacht, she emigrated to Holland. From there, she was deported to the Theresienstadt ghetto in 1943. After the ghetto's liberation, she took British citizenship. She produced several works for Pestalozzi Publishing in the 1920s.
