World English Bible (Update)

The World English Bible (also known as the WEB) is a freeware updated revision of the American Standard Version (1901). It is one of the only public domain, modern-English translations of the entire Bible. The only significant change to the updated WEBU from the original WEB was to unify the handling of the Tetragrammaton (YHWH). The classic WEB uses "Yahweh" and the updated version uses "LORD," or when used with "Lord" from Adonai, "GOD."
