Edward Walford (1823 - 1897)

Edward Walford, graduated Oxford at age 17. He went on to become an ordained Clergyman of the Church of England. He achieved two great awards: the Chancellor's Prize for Latin verse , and the Denyer Theological Prize. He converted to Catholocism in 1853 and became an writer, editor and translator.
