Baldomero Fernández Moreno (1886 - 1950)

Baldomero Fernández Moreno (November 15, 1886 - June 7, 1950) was an Argentine poet and rural doctor, a full member of the Argentine Academy of Letters. His poetry, both universal and deeply national, has immortalized the aesthetics of the Buenos Aires neighborhoods and the warm placidity of the provinces and their rural characteristics. He was called "the walking poet" with traits of a flâneur, a figure who travels around the city poetizing.
