Johanna von Franul (1772 - 1847)

Johanna Franul von Weißenthurn (16 February 1772 - 17 May 1847) was a German actress and playwright. Sixty of her plays were published, 48 of which were performed at the Hofburg Theater. Her comedies earned her particular popularity, and it was in this genre that she was most active.
