Reau Folk (1865 - 1948)

Reau Estes Folk (September 21, 1865 - February 8, 1948) was an American journalist and government official. He was elected clerk of the Tennessee House of Representatives and later state treasurer and ex-efficio insurance commissioner. An investigation he inaugurated helped to clean up the insurance industry and brought about the standardization of life insurance policies.
