Napoleon-Eugène Beyens (1855 - 1934)
Napoleon-Eugène Beyens (24 March 1855 – 3 January 1934), son of ambassador Eugène Beyens, was a Belgian government official. He served as a secretary of king Leopold II, and chief of staff for king Albert I. In 1912 he was posted as ambassador in Berlin, and in 1914 had to take receipt of the declaration of war by the Germans. From 1921 to 1925 he was Belgian ambassador at the Vatican.
