William Cameron Coup (1836 - 1895)

William Cameron Coup was from Wisconsin. He was a business partner of P. T. Barnum and Dan Castello in the venture "P. T. Barnum's Museum, Menagerie and Circus". Coup thought of using a train to take the circus from town to town. He also came up with the concept of a two ring and three ring circus.
