Minnie E. Blood (1863 - 1942)

Minnie E. Blood was an American poet. Although born in Massachusetts, Blood lived much of her life in Germany. She witnessed the outbreak of World War I and her observations fueled much of her wartime poetry. She worked tirelessly to help prisoners of war with food and clothing.
