James Wetherell (1822 - 1858)

James Wetherell was a British merchant and consular employee in Brazil. He was Vice Consul at Bahia for 12 years, twice being left in charge of the consulate. He died at age 36 shortly after a trip into the interior of Brazil, having fallen down the stairs of his house.
