H. C. V. Morton (1892 - 1979)

Henry Canova Vollam Morton FRSL (known as H. V. Morton), (26 July 1892 – 18 June 1979) was a journalist for London's Daily Express. He became known as a travel writer, especially on the subject of London, and gained fame as a reporter at the opening of King Tutankamun's tomb in 1922. He and his wife later became South African citizens.
