William Fawcett (1851 - 1926)

William Fawcett was a British botanist who focused on Jamaica. He worked for the department of Botany of the British Museum, was a member of the Linnean Society. He lived for some years in Jamaica where he was the Director of Public Gardens and Plantations.He wrote several books on the botany of Jamaica.
