Barbara Doukhovsky (1854 - 1913)

Barbara Doukhovskoy (née Princesse Galitzine) was a Russian princess and diarist. The Galitzine family was the second largest and noblest princely house in Russia. The Galitzines claim their seniority in the Russian dynasty of the Gediminas (the Gediminides) which has existed since the 13th century. The family is among the first Russian aristocratic dynasties and its members bear the honorific His Serene Highness.
