John Frost (1800 - 1859)

John Frost (1800-1859) was a prolific author of books on nature and American history. His books on nature were written using the pseudonym, Robert Ramble. Frost was born in Maine and graduated from Harvard in 1822. He moved to Philadelphia in 1838 where he taught at the High School of Philadelphia.
