James T. Lightwood (1856 - 1944)

James Thomas Lightwood was an English educator, organist, and hymnologist. He was Headmaster of Pembroke House, a private school in Lytham, Lancashire. He was civic-minded, serving on various boards and councils in Lytham. He edited the Methodist publication The Choir and organized the newly formed Music Department of the Methodist Publishing House.
