William F. Channing (1820 - 1901)

William Francis Channing (February 22, 1820 - March 19, 1901) was an American physician, scientist, and anti-slavery activist. He was the son of Unitarian preacher Dr. William Ellery Channing. He participated in the Underground Railroad as a member of the Latimer Committee and the 1850 Boston Vigilance Committee.
