Alexandra Amalie Prinzessin von Bayern (1826 - 1875)

Alexandra of Bavaria from the House of Wittelsbach, writer and translator, was abbess of a women's monastery in her later years. She was active in helping the poor and often donated the proceeds from her writings to good causes.
Alexandra von Bayern aus dem Hause Wittelsbach, Schriftstellerin und Übersetzerin, war in ihren späteren Jahren Äbtissin eines Damenstifts. Sie war in der Armenfürsorge tätig und stiftete den Erlös ihrer Schriften oft guten Zwecken.
