Sheng 昇 Hong 洪 (1645 - 1704)
Hong Sheng (August 21, 1645 - July 2, 1704), whose courtesy name was Fansi, also known as Barnyard, Barnyard Village, and also nicknamed Nanping Qiaozhe, was a native of Qiantang Couny, Zhejiang Province (now Hangzhou City). He was a famous opera actor in the early Qing Dynasty. Writer, famous all over the world for his script "The Palace of Eternal Life" and is known as "Southern Hong and Northern Kong".
