Emerson Gifford Taylor (1874 - 1932)

Col. Emerson Gifford Taylor was an American author, educator and soldier. He received his PhD from Yale in 1899, worked there as instructor until 1906, when he returned to Hartford. His military career begun in 1915, he participated in the Mexican Border Campaign, and in WWI in France. He wrote several books of fiction and non-fiction.
