Mary Willis Shuey (1892 - 1966)

Mary Willis Miller Shuey was an American poet and educator. She taught English at Centenary College in Shreveport, LA. Her most famous work was "Some Kentuckians and Other People," in which she used poetry to describe her childhood in her native Kentucky.
