Frederick Edwin Smith, 1st Earl of Birkenhead (1872 - 1930)

Frederick Edwin Smith, 1st Earl of Birkenhead, GCSI, PC, DL (12 July 1872 – 30 September 1930) was a British Conservative politician, barrister and member of Parliament. He served as Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain from 1919-1922 and Secretary of State for India from 1924-1928.
