Judah Halevi (c.1075 - 1141)

Judah Halevi (also Yehuda Halevi or ha-Levi; Judah ben Shmuel Halevi) was a Spanish Jewish physician, poet and philosopher. He is considered one of the greatest Hebrew poets, and is celebrated for both his religious and secular poems.
