Gerhard Robert Walther von Coeckelberghe-Dützele (1786 - 1857)
Gerhard Robert Walter von Coeckelberghe-Dützele, pseudonym: Realis (February 9, 1786 - July 5 , 1857) was an Austrian civil servant and writer. The Coeckelberghe family fled from the French revolutionary troops to Austria in 1794 during the First Coalition War. The young Gerhard entered the government service as an accountant in 1806 and served as such until 1843. He also published under the pseudonym "Severin" and later "Realis" novellas and historical-topographical writings. His main work is the two-volume Curiosities and Memorabilia Lexicon of Vienna (1846).
