Charles E. Kilbourne (1872 - 1963)

Major General Charles Evans Kilbourne Jr. (December 23, 1872 – November 12, 1963) was the first American to earn the United States' three highest military decorations. He had a post-military career as a distinguished writer. Among his writings are the "Army Boy" books and "Baby Animal Stories".
