Julian Fane (1827 - 1870)

Julian Fane was a British poet and diplomat. At Cambridge he won the Chancellor's Gold Medal for his poem 'The Death of Adelaide Queen Dowager' and was a Cambridge Apostle. He was the grandfather of the First World War poet Julian Grenfell.
