Henry I. Shaw, Jr. (1927 - 2000)

Henry Ivar (Bud) Shaw, Jr. (June 29, 1926 - June 1, 2000) was an American soldier and historian. He served as a Marine in both World War II and the Korean War, and was Marine Corps historian from 1951-1990. He is the co-author of four of the five volumes of the official history of Marine Corps operations in World War II and was the senior editor of most of the official histories of Marines in Vietnam.
