Pendleton King ( - 1918)

John Pendleton King II, called Pendleton, was born and brought up at the family estate in Augusta GA, now a city park. Pendleton was an Oxford graduate, writer, and poet. He was awarded the Croix de Guerre during World War 1. He died in Augusta shortly after returning from the war.
