Sidford Frederick Hamp (1855 - 1919)

English writer who moved to the United States as a young man, to become part of the team who surveyed what later became Yellowstone National Park. Hamp authored a number of books for the youth market, short stories, plays, and opera librettos, many set in Colorado.
